Sean Spicer the press secretary of the white house and the former communications director of president Trump, Have apologized for what he said during a press conference about the latest US strike in Syria, On Monday at the daily meeting of the white house news conference, Sean Spicer have compared Bashar Alassad to Adolf Hitler when he said Bashar is much worse than Hitler that Hitler was not using gas or chemical weapons against his own people.
What Sean Spicer have really said about Holocaust
When one of the reporters interrupted him to correct his lack of information about what really Hitler did during the Holocaust, Sean Spicer ’s answer was: and I quote : “I think when you come to siren gas there was no, he was not using gas on his own people the same way that Assad is doing. I mean, there’s clearly he brought them into the Holocaust centres, I understand that. But I’m saying in the way that Assad used them where he went into towns, dropped them down to innocent into the middle of towns. I appreciate the clarification that was not the intent”.
Today Sean Spicer had to apologize on CNN for his statement earlier on Monday and he said : “I was obviously trying to make a point about the heinous acts that Assad had made against his own people last week, using chemical weapons and gas. Frankly, I mistakenly made an inappropriate and insensitive reference to the Holocaust, for which there is no comparison. For that I apologize. It was a mistake to do that”.
Anger and outrage in Israel caused by Sean Spicer ’s comment about Hitler
A lot of Israeli politicians have reacted with anger to the comments made by Sean Spicer, the white house press secretary. A well known Likud member have said on twitter : ” Sean Spicer ’s statement that Hitler didn’t use chemical weapons is severe and outrageous. We have a moral obligation that supersedes policy considerations. We must demand that he apologise, or resign”.
